Can a corn maze pay for itself?

 Yes, it can. But if you are just getting started with fall activities on your farm, it may take a few seasons before the maze really earns its keep. Farms that do best usually have an established customer base, a clear plan for bringing people out, and other fall activities such as a pumpkin patch, hayrides, or food.

 Admission is structured differently from one farm to the next. Some farms sell a maze-only ticket, while others include the maze in a larger fall pass with hayrides, play areas, or other attractions. Those are different products, so one industry-wide ticket price is not a reliable starting point for your farm.
